My practices
Community Gathering and Organizing
I steward connective spaces for the LGBTQIA+ community, including the Big Gay Picnic and UltraViolet Sapphic Dance Party. The intent of this work is to connect people to one another, build communities who are on a shared path, center queer joy as a key ingredient in our movement, and generate participation in actions that build the futures we desire.
I am a self-taught, interdisciplinary artist. My mixed media art focuses on upcycled and repurposed materials. Current obsession? Textiles! Think embroidery, block printing, sewing. Musically, I am a member of One Voice Chorus and tinker with piano, guitar, and vocals.
Creative Strategist
With seven years of experience helping public and social sector organizations with project and policy development, implementation, and evaluation, and 11 years of experience managing projects and teams, I specialize in organizational strategy, coalition-building, community-driven solutions, and digital transformation, especially related to sustainability and climate action.
